Midcoast Final Draft
H&H Construction Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has begun construction on a 98,550 square foot aviation hangar for Midcoast Aviation. This project represents a second hangar built for Midcoast by H&H at the St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia, Illinois. An aviation paint hangar was completed in 2004.
Midcoast Aviation began in 1971 as a fixed base operation at Lambert Field in St. Louis providing fuel and minor maintenance services. The company has grown into a major provider of jet maintenance and modifications. The Midcoast St. Louis Downtown Airport facility is the company’s largest and most diversified and this eighth hangar will bring the total under roof to more than 500,000 square feet. The Cahokia operation provides a full scope of services: scheduled inspection, unscheduled repair, avionics repair and upgrades, engine service, interior design and refurbishment, exterior design and paint, structural repair or modification, component and accessory service . . . or whatever combination a customer needs. St. Louis Downtown also is the primary location for Midcoast's completion of Bombardier 604s and Globals flown there "green" from the factory.

Additionally H&H received an Award of Excellence for the Ace Hardware store completed in 2005 in Chatham, Illinois. The awards were presented recently to Mike Klaus of H&H, at Metallic’s 2006 national sales meeting held in Houston, which also commemorated Metallic’s 60th year in business.

Overhead Door Groundbreak
A new facility for Overhead Door of Southwestern Illinois is underway today in Swansea, Illinois. The project, a 16,900 square foot building to be utilized for sales and distribution will help Overhead Door expand its services in the Metro East area. The building is owned by Heyde-Key Properties, LLC who is developing this project for Overhead Door. H&H Construction Services, Inc. will serve as the general contractor and Evan Lloyd Associates, Inc. is providing the architectural services.

Jim is a 1970 graduate and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Quantitative Methods. Five alumni were recognized in the fourth annual Alumni Hall of Fame Awards which was established to recognize and honor significant professional accomplishments. The criterion included not only business success, but ethics and social responsibility as well. Alpine News Release
Alpine Engineered Products, Inc. is pleased to announce a new manufacturing facility to be located in the Old Route 66 Industrial Park in Litchfield, Illinois. This 126,000 square foot building will replace an older plant that Alpine has outgrown.
H&H Construction Services, Inc. has been named the general contractor and will work closely with McDonough-Whitlow, P.C. who will handle the engineering and Evan Lloyd & Associates who will provide the architectural services.

1st Community Bank Start
The Bank of Springfield will be opening a new facility in Glen Carbon: First Community State Bank located on Route 157 in the rapidly expanding commercial area serving the Edwardsville and Glen Carbon communities. H&H Construction Services, Inc. is the general contractor. The groundbreaking ceremony was held recently with representatives from all groups involved.
The 27,000 square foot facility will house the bank and medical offices. Conventional high quality general construction will be used for this two-story masonry structure with a full basement. Engineering and architectural services are being provided by Hanson Professional Services, Inc. of Springfield.

Bibeau & Schien Draft
H&H Construction recently broke ground with Bibeau & Schien in Carlinville for a new crane building. Bibeau & Schien, formerly Schien Equipment, represents a merger between an Illinois firm and a Canadian company. The project is very exciting for Carlinville as Marcel Bibeau, President of Bibeau & Schien, anticipates significant capital investment and job creation for the Carlinville location. This project is evidence of that commitment. Bibeau & Schien manufacture truck bodies.

Wausa News Release
Wausau Supply is expanding their Jacksonville facility by an additional 38,400 square feet, bringing the total building size to 134,400 sq. ft. This is the second expansion since the original building was constructed in 2002. H&H Construction Services, Inc. is again serving as the general contractor. The groundbreaking was held recently in Jacksonville and well attended by representatives of Wausau and H&H, and numerous city and county officials, along with Senator Deanna Demuzio and Representative Jim Watson.
Wausau Supply, headquartered in Wausau, Wisconsin, is a wholesale distributor of building materials to retail lumberyards in four states. This project will continue to support an expansion of the company’s market area.
